Estate & Senior Document Notarization — At Home, Hospital, or Care Facility

Careful, unhurried notarization for the documents families can't get wrong — wherever you are.

The documents we notarize

You bring the documents your attorney or institution prepared; we make sure the signing is done correctly.

  • Durable & financial powers of attorney

Authority for someone you trust to manage financial and property matters.

  • Healthcare powers of attorney

Naming the person who can make medical decisions if you cannot.

  • Advance healthcare directives

Your wishes for medical care, set down clearly in writing.

  • Living trusts & trust-transfer deeds

Trust signatures and the deeds that move property into a trust.

  • Affidavits & sworn statements

Sworn declarations for estates, benefits, and family matters.

Why a mobile notary matters here

Estate and senior documents tend to arrive at hard moments — a health scare, a parent who can no longer drive, paperwork that suddenly can't wait. The people who need these documents signed are often the least able to travel for them. Matthew Helton brings the notarization to you, so a power of attorney or healthcare directive never stalls over a car ride.

  • Private homes
  • Hospital bedsides
  • Hospice care
  • Assisted living & skilled nursing

Same-day appointments available. After-hours visits available for urgent needs.

How a signing works

  1. Step 01

    Call or request online

Tell us what you need notarized and where you are. Not sure what you need? We will help you figure it out.

  2. Step 02

We confirm a time and come to you

We agree on a time and a flat travel fee, then drive to your home, hospital, or care facility.

  3. Step 03

You sign — and you are done

We check photo ID, watch each person sign, and complete the notarial act. Most signings take only a few minutes.

Simple, upfront pricing

California sets the notary fee at $15 per signature. We add one clearly listed flat travel fee based on your location — and you'll know the full cost before we arrive.

A notary public cannot give legal advice or decide what kind of notarization you need. Please bring the documents your attorney or institution has prepared, and we'll carefully complete the notarial act.

Estate notary questions

What do I need to bring to my appointment?
Please have ready: a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID for each person signing; the document you need notarized, still unsigned (the law requires us to watch you sign it); any witnesses your document calls for; and payment. Not sure about something? Just ask when we schedule.
Do you come to hospitals and care facilities?
Yes. Visiting people where they are is the heart of what we do. We notarize at private homes, hospital bedsides, hospice, and assisted-living and skilled-nursing facilities throughout Calaveras County.
Do you offer same-day or after-hours appointments?
Call and ask — we do our best to accommodate urgent and after-hours requests, especially for time-sensitive estate, hospital, and family matters. The sooner you call, the more options we can offer.
What estate and senior documents can you notarize?
Common ones include durable and healthcare powers of attorney, living trusts and trust-transfer deeds, advance healthcare directives, and affidavits. You bring the documents your attorney or institution prepared; we handle the notarization.
What happens during the appointment?
We meet you at your chosen location, check each signer's photo ID, watch each person sign, and complete the notarial certificate and our journal entry. Most single-document signings take only a few minutes.
