Our lead service

Estate & senior documents, signed where you are

Powers of attorney, living trusts, and advance healthcare directives often can't wait — and the people who need them can't always travel. Matthew Helton comes to the home, hospital bedside, or care facility, on your schedule.

A notary public cannot give legal advice or decide what kind of notarization you need — but we make the signing itself simple, careful, and convenient.

  • Healthcare powers of attorney

How it works

Three simple steps

And the phone number is always one tap away if you would rather just talk it through.

  1. Step 01

    Call or request online

Tell us what you need notarized and where you are. Not sure what you need? We will help you figure it out.

  2. Step 02

We confirm a time and come to you

We agree on a time and a flat travel fee, then drive to your home, hospital, or care facility.

  3. Step 03

You sign — and you are done

We check photo ID, watch each person sign, and complete the notarial act. Most signings take only a few minutes.

5 average from 6 reviews

My mother is 88 and can't travel easily, so having Matthew come to her home to notarize her power of attorney was a blessing. He was patient, kind, and explained each step without ever making her feel rushed. I can't recommend him enough.

Linda M. San Andreas
We needed an advance healthcare directive signed at the hospital on short notice. Matthew came the same afternoon, was calm and professional with the nursing staff, and got everything handled properly. A genuine lifesaver during a hard week.

Robert & Carol T. Angels Camp
Booked an evening appointment for some affidavits and DMV transfer paperwork. He showed up right on time, the pricing was exactly what he quoted, and he came to my office so I didn't lose half a day driving around. Easiest notary experience I've had.

Good to know

Questions, answered

What do I need to bring to my appointment?
Please have ready: a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID for each person signing; the document you need notarized, still unsigned (the law requires us to watch you sign it); any witnesses your document calls for; and payment. Not sure about something? Just ask when we schedule.
How much does it cost?
California law sets the notary fee at $15 per signature. Because Calaveras County is spread out, we add a simple flat travel fee based on your zone — and you will always know the full cost before we arrive. See our Pricing page for the zone schedule.
Do you come to hospitals and care facilities?
Yes. Visiting people where they are is the heart of what we do. We notarize at private homes, hospital bedsides, hospice, and assisted-living and skilled-nursing facilities throughout Calaveras County.
Can you notarize my documents online or over video?
No. California does not yet allow its notaries to perform online or remote (video) notarizations. Every notarization we do is in person — we simply travel to wherever you are.
